When you add a brand, you now pick how you want to track it. The two modes ask different questions and shape the prompts, topics, and reporting around the answer.
The two modes
- Visibility is about presence. Are you named when someone asks an AI engine about your category, and where do you land against competitors?
- Reputation is about perception. When the engines do talk about you, is the framing accurate, positive, or off?
Topics and prompt import work in both modes, so you can build out either kind of brand the same way.
Why it matters
Getting mentioned and being described well are two different problems with two different fixes. Splitting them means a brand that already shows up everywhere can focus on sentiment, while a brand nobody names can focus on getting into the answer at all.
