Each plan comes with a number of prompts: 50 on Free and Startup, 250 on Freelancer, 600 on Agency. Until now, that number counted the prompts you created in a calendar month. From today, it counts the prompts you are tracking.
What changes
- It's a running total, not a monthly one. If your plan includes 250 prompts, you can track up to 250 at any time. Nothing resets on the 1st.
- Deleting a prompt frees its slot. Remove a prompt you no longer need and you can add a new one right away.
- One prompt counts once. A prompt runs on every engine your plan includes, at every refresh, and still counts as 1.
- Brands share one allowance. Prompts on all the brands you own count toward your plan, including prompts teammates add to your brands. When a teammate adds prompts to someone else's brand, they count toward that brand owner's plan.
When you reach the limit
- In the app, adding prompts past the limit is blocked, and the message tells you how many slots are left.
- Over the API and MCP, a request adds the prompts that fit and lists the ones it skipped.
- A spreadsheet import adds prompts up to the limit and tells you how many were left out.
- Restoring deleted prompts works only if they fit within the limit.
If an account ends up over its limit, for example after a downgrade, its most recently added prompts are paused. Paused prompts keep all their history, and they restart on their own once there is room again.
You can see how many prompts you are tracking in Billing.
