Paid plans can now track Google Gemini. You still track 4 engines, but you now choose them from 5: ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overview.
What changed
- Pick any 4 of 5. In Settings, under LLM Configuration, turn Gemini on and switch off the engine you care about least. Your plan's prompt allowance doesn't change.
- Nothing changes unless you choose. If you never touch the setting, your runs keep using ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Google AI Overview.
- Gemini follows live web search. With live web search on, Gemini searches Google and cites the pages it used, like ChatGPT and Claude. With it off, Gemini answers from what the model already knows.
- Google AI Overview now searches Google. It always did a simulation, because Google has no API for AI Overviews. It now runs Gemini with Google Search, so its answers and sources come from current results instead of the model's memory. The app labels it as simulated.
- Charts mark engine changes. If you swap an engine, the visibility trend shows the date, so a jump in the line has a visible cause.
Why it matters
Gemini is the AI assistant many of your buyers already have open in Google products, and it doesn't answer the same way Google's AI Overview does. Tracking both, or picking the one your market uses, shows you a part of the picture the other engines miss.
The Free plan still tracks ChatGPT and Claude. See the plans for what each one includes.
